Eigentlich singt Tim Kasher seit 20 Jahren in Bands wie Cursive und The Good Life. Jetzt verwirklicht er sich selbst. Sein erstes Soloalbum heißt The Game Of Monogamy. Kasher verpackt seine kleinen Geschichten und großen Krisen in fröhlichem Pop, der hier und da akustisch geprägt ist und dann aber doch wieder orchestrales Ausmaß annimmt.

Creme de la Canadian servieren wir Euch außerdem mit unserem Ausblick auf das Le Guess Who Festival in Utrecht: Programmchef Bob van Heur berichtet uns von seinem Winterreigen mit Caribou, Broken Social Scene, Menomena und Swans, sowie vielen tollen Neuentdeckungen.

Dann unterhalten wir uns noch mit Pål Moddi Knutsen. Der 23-jährige Norweger war neulich in Köln live in der Friedenskirche als Support für Angus and Julia Stone, und hat den Hauptact in Sachen Intensität und Sympathie locker in die Tasche gesteckt. Wir freuen uns, dass er uns im Studio besucht hat, Musik gemacht und übers kommende Album gesprochen hat.
