Heute drehen wir mal wieder so richtig auf und haben zwei Mixmeister plus ihren Zeremonienmeister für ein energiegeladenes Set im Studio.

Der 28jährige Bonner D'MON stammt ursprünglich aus Indien und ist Mitglied der polnischen Drum & Bass Crew NINJA MOVES mit der er dort schon einige Shows rockte, aber auch hierzulande spielte er schon mit Acts wie Bassface Sascha und Judge D in Wolfsburg, Heidelberg oder Braunschweig. In letzter Zeit hat es ihn aber er vor allem in die Kölner Region verschlagen.
Schuld daran ist sein neuer partner in crime, Brian Brainstorm. Brian ist Mitglied im BASSLIEBE DJ TEAM und produziert auch seit einigen Jahren für das gleichnamige Label. Seine Tunes wurden bis dato von einigen namhaften DJs wie Downlink, Ravager, Dexcell und sogar Paul van Dyk supported. Mit der Bassliebe Crew spielte er bereits in sämtlichen Kölner Locations sowie auf einigen anderen Partyreihen.

Die beiden vereint die Faszination für massiven Jump Up Drum & Bass von Jayline, Zen, Original Sin, Annix, DJ Pleasure und Co. Im Mai 2012 spielten die beiden ihr erstes Back 2 Back Set im Stadtgarten, gehosted vom Lieblings-MC der Bassliebe, MC Brother Charity. Das Publikum feierte die drei D'n'B Dudes zu später Stunde bis zum letzten Tune, und die Fortsetzung dieser Kollaboration war sofort geritzt. In gleicher Besetzung wird nun also auch im Kölncampus-Studio angetreten. Für Jump Up Sets unbedingte Voraussetzung und deshalb auch das A und O in den Sets von D'MON und BRIAN BRAINSTORM sind: schnelles und sauberes Mixing, frische Dubplates sowie jede Menge Double Drops, live begleitet von Brother Charity, der die beiden mit gesanglichem Talent und seiner positiven Ausstrahlung unterstützt. Wer nicht mehr bis Samstag warten will, kann sich hier bereits einen Eindruck verschaffen.
